You see Milarpa's Hail falling on the hill side, the hail is a red hail. In its red warlike quality is held all the potential of milarpa. The hail is so heavy It makes holes in the hill. The people turn up their heels and run away. And They run like hell. Going back over this battlefield you see that worms in the holes are aces. Worms are poking their delighted heads out of the sides of the holes made by the hailstones, which have now all drained away…..IN the sky, suddenly, you see the hulls of bodhissatva vehicles.

Earthworms are the animals which "work old ground" and enrich it. Interstingly, they also have five hearts.
